HomeSolar Flare tomato is a highly productive tomato with loads of 6-10 ounce beefsteaks from midseason onward. The color is bright red with gold stripes. However, some of the plants I grew produced dark red fruits with green stripes. The flavor is bold, tangy and full-bodied.
Tomato 'Solar Flare' was developed by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms.
Sowing Solar Flare Tomato Seeds
Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
