HomeEarly Gem is our own introduction. Even with all the famous heirloom tomatoes in the garden, this small salad tomato is still one of our favorites. The red, round, 1.5" fruits ripen early and continuously all summer long. The sweet and tangy flavor is well-balanced. Productivity is excellent, but not overwhelming.
Tomato 'Early Gem' was introduced by Diane's Flower Seeds in 2025. It was discovered in a patch of Abe Lincoln tomatoes grown from Baker Creek seeds.
