Tomato 'Blondkopfchen'
(75 days)
30 seeds $3.00 coming in fall
Blondkopfchen is a 1/2" yellow cherry tomato from Germany. The delicious flavor is sweet and citrusy. The huge plants are very productive in mild weather. When our temperatures went over 100 degrees in July, the blossoms fell off. But the plants kept on growing, and they produced abundantly later on.
A German-born friend says that Blondkopfchen means "little blonde head," referring to a child with blonde hair. Heirloom.
Sowing Blondkopfchen Tomato Seeds
Start tomato seeds indoors 8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/8" deep. Transplant outside 1-2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 30-36".
