Early Prolific Straightneck squash is the standard in yellow straightneck summer squash. This heirloom variety produces loads of creamy yellow fruits.

Harvest the fruits at 8-9" long for best flavor. The bush-type plants grow to 36" wide and 30" tall. Early Prolific Straightneck was an All-America Selections winner in 1938. Latin name: Cucurbita pepo.
