Rudbeckia fulgida 'Goldsturm' is one of the most valued perennials in mid to late summer. It produces loads of golden-yellow, daisy-like flowers with dark central cones. The flowers attract butterflies, and the ripe seeds attract birds.
Black-Eyed Susan goes well with other perennials and ornamental grasses in the border. It is especially impressive when massed. It makes a great cut flower.
Rudbeckia 'Goldsturm' tolerates a wide range of conditions, including clay or poor soil. It is drought tolerant and deer resistant.
