Roman chamomile is a perennial herb or groundcover with small, daisy-like flowers. The fragrant flowers can be used for tea, although the flavor is stronger and more bitter than German chamomile.

Roman chamomile makes a sweetly-scented groundcover that can be mown to keep it dense. Hardy in zones 4-9. Deer resistant.
