Lupine 'Russell Hybrids' blooms in late spring to early summer with tall, dense spikes of flowers. This famous mix includes red, pink, blue, yellow and white flowers in solids and bicolors.

Lupine 'Russell Hybrids' are among the showiest flowers in the late spring garden when there are few other plants in bloom.

Russell Lupine self-sows nicely if allowed to go to seed. The colorful flowers attract hummingbirds. Lupine is a host plant for Frosted Elfin and Eastern Tailed-Blue butterflies. Deer resistant.

Also known as Lupinus polyphyllus 'Russell Mixture' and 'Band of Nobles'. Hardy perennial in zones 4-8.
