HomeMayan Jaguar is a stunning new variety bred by Frank Morton. It doesn't just have a cool name - it's also very tasty. The dark green, ruffled leaves are splashed with dark red spots. This crunchy romaine lettuce has blushed pink hearts. It is slow to develop, but it holds its sweetness longer than many of the lettuces we have tried. Open-pollinated.
Sowing Mayan Jaguar Lettuce Seeds
Sow lettuce seeds outdoors in early spring. Sow on the surface in very shallow furrows, or cover lightly with soil. Thin to 8" apart. Full sun to part shade.
