Kamo eggplant is our all-time favorite. It's simply the earliest, most productive, and most delicious eggplant we've ever grown. It's a gourmet delicacy from the city of Kamo, Japan. It has dense flesh with a creamy texture and sweet flavor.
We had a continuous harvest from mid summer to fall, which gave me the opportunity to perfect my ratatouille recipe. Blocky, small to medium-size fruits.
Sowing Kamo Eggplant Seeds
Start eggplant seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 16".
