Calendula officinalis 'Resina'
Calendula 'Resina' has bright yellow flowers with the occasional orange flower. It is prized for its exceptionally high resin content, which gives it more powerful medicinal properties than other calendulas.
Resina calendula makes a wonderful addition to the kitchen garden. The edible flower petals can be added to salads or used as a substitute for saffron.
Calendulas bloom quickly from an early spring sowing, and they self-sow to come back year after year.
