HomeBonsai basil is simply the cutest thing I ever saw! It grows into a perfect globe-shaped plant with no pruning required. The leaves are very tiny, but at least you don't have to chop them.
I kept a potted plant in my kitchen window where I could grab a few leaves to sprinkle on dishes at the last minute before serving. This Greek basil has a bold flavor. It only grows 6-12" tall and wide.
Sowing Bonsai Basil Seeds
Start basil seeds indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8" deep. Transplant outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 10".
