This is a beautiful variety with mild-flavored leaves and colorful stems of pink, yellow, orange, red and white.
Rainbow chard originated in Australia in the nineteenth century. Under the name of Swiss Chard 'Bright Lights', it won an All America Selections award in 1998. Also known as Five Color Silverbeet. 60 days to harvest.

Sowing Swiss Chard Seeds:
Sow outdoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost date, 1/2" deep and 3" apart. Thin to 8" apart. Can be sown in the fall in mild winter areas. Full sun; part shade in hot climates.
