This low-growing perennial is similar to Iberis sempervirens, except the flowers are lavender-pink instead of white. They open very pale and darken with age.
Gibraltar candytuft blooms in the spring, and it usually repeat blooms in late summer or fall. Cut the plants back after bloom to keep them compact and bushy, and to reduce self sowing. The foliage is evergreen. Hardy in zones 5-9.
