This low-growing perennial has lavender-pink flowers in late spring to summer. They open very pale and darken with age. It makes a good ground cover.
Gibraltar candytuft looks fantastic combined with purple alliums in late spring. Cut the plants back after blooming to keep them compact and bushy, if desired. They self sow prolifically if allowed to go to seed. The foliage is evergreen. Hardy in zones 5-9.
