Anise hyssop is my husband's favorite herb. The crushed leaves smell like licorice, and they make great herbal teas. Other common names are Licorice Mint and Lavender Mint.
Agastache foeniculum has dark blue-green leaves and tall spikes of lavender-blue flowers that attract bees and beneficial insects. It blooms the first year from seed and can be grown as an annual. Also known as Agastache anisata. Hardy in zones 5-10.
