This wildflower is found in many states across North America. In late summer and fall, it is covered with small yellow daisies that have raised, black centers. Attracts butterflies.
Rudbeckia triloba is a tall, eye-catching plant that makes a great companion for ornamental grasses. If desired, you can cut the plants back in mid summer to encourage shorter, bushier growth and later blooming. Also known as Brown-Eyed Susan. Hardy in zones 3-10.
