I agree with John Jeavons, who says that Bronze Arrow is "one of the best lettuces in the world." This heirloom lettuce from California has arrow-shaped leaves of bronze-red and green with a delicious, mild flavor. 

Bronze Arrow does well in all sorts of weather and is slow to bolt. Looseleaf.
