Aunt Molly's ground cherry produces plenty of 1/2 to 3/4" fruits that have a sweet and slightly tangy flavor. Ground cherries are good for fresh eating, as well as adding to sauces, pies and jams, thanks to their high pectin content. Children love these tasty little morsels!

Also known as Cape Gooseberry. Latin name: Physalis pruinosa.
