Chinese forget-me-not is one of the my favorite annuals. It makes a haze of sky-blue flowers throughout the garden from early summer to fall.
Cynoglossum amabile self sows nicely, but not invasively. I've never found it to be a problem. And the blue color looks good with practically anything.

Sowing Cynoglossum Seeds:
Sow indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date. Or sow outdoors in spring, 1/8" deep. Full sun to part shade. Easy to grow. Self sows.
