Golden Wave Coreopsis

This fabulous annual coreopsis has bright yellow flowers accented with maroon centers. It blooms from mid summer to fall. The lightly fragrant flowers attract butterflies.
Coreopsis basalis is also known as Calliopsis, Goldmane or Goldenmane Tickseed. It is native to the southern United States. Like other coreopsis species, it enjoys full sun and well-drained, preferably sandy soil.
