Sunflower 'Mongolian Giant'

Mongolian Giant sunflower has the largest edible seeds of any variety we've ever grown. It also has the largest flower heads, measuring 12-18" across. Our plants were so top-heavy they had to be propped up near the end of the season to keep them from blowing over.

The seedheads mature in 90-100 days. Height 10-14', spacing 24".

Sowing Mongolian Giant Sunflower Seeds

Sow sunflower seeds outdoors after the last frost date, 1" deep. Thin to 24" apart. Full sun.
