Saponaria 'Pink Beauty'

Pink Beauty saponaria is a popular annual used as a filler in cut flower arrangements. It is similar to baby's breath, but the flowers are much larger with sturdier stems. The 1" flowers are a lovely shade of dusty pink, appearing in nicely branched sprays.

Besides its use a cut flower, Saponaria 'Pink Beauty' also works in the garden, adding a little extra touch. You can easily tuck the plants in between other annuals and perennials.

Saponaria 'Pink Beauty' blooms quickly - only 60 days from sowing. Start transplants every two weeks for a longer display. Harvest when one-third of the flowers are open. Dip the bottom few inches of the stems in boiling water for 7 seconds, then place in cool water. Vase life is 7 days.
