Oriental Poppy 'May Queen' has double flowers in a soft shade of bright orange.

Papaver orientale 'May Queen' is often found in old gardens. Every time I see it, I am reminded of an elderly neighbor who was my friend. He had a huge bed of May Queen in a wild garden next to his driveway.

Also known as Papaver orientale plena 'May Queen'. Hardy perennial in zones 3-9.
