Minnesota Midget is a good melon for small spaces and short growing seasons. The vines grow to 3-4 feet long, and they produce 4-inch-wide melons with sweet, orange flesh. Can be trellised or grown in containers. Resistant to fusarium wilt.

Sowing Melon Seeds
Sow melon seeds outdoors one week after the last frost date, 1/2" deep. Space plants 2 feet apart in rows. Or sow in hills spaced 4-6 feet apart. Thin to 3 plants per hill. Full sun.
