Gaura lindheimeri

Gaura lindheimeri is a native perennial with pink-tinged white flowers that bloom from early summer to fall. The graceful flowers are reminiscent of butterflies perched on tall stems. They attract hummingbirds and butterflies.

Gaura self sows, but it's not invasive. It blooms the first year from seed, so it can be grown as an annual. Drought tolerant. Commonly known as Appleblossom Grass or just plain Gaura. Also known as Oenothera lindheimeri. Hardy in zones 5-9.
