Eggplant 'Kamo'

Kamo is the earliest, most productive, and most delicious eggplant we've ever grown. It is a gourmet delicacy from the city of Kamo, Japan. The dense flesh has a creamy texture and sweet flavor.

We had a continuous harvest from midsummer to fall, which gave me the opportunity to perfect my ratatouille recipe. The small to medium-size fruits have a blocky shape.

Sowing Eggplant Seeds

Start eggplant seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Full sun. Spacing 16".
