'Hidcote Superior' lavender is a compact selection that blooms from July to September with deep violet-blue flowers. It has a darker color and a more upright habit than 'Munstead'.

English lavender 'Hidcote Superior' was introduced in 2001 by Jelitto Perennial Seeds. It is a consistent strain, making it perfect for hedges. It requires well-drained soil and makes a nice companion plant for roses.
