Larkspur 'Giant Imperial Mixed' has tall spikes of double flowers in shades of purple, blue, lavender, pink and white.
Larkpur generally likes full sun, but it doesn't mind part shade in hot summer areas. I grow it on the shady north side of my house in the Utah desert climate (zone 5b-6). We have very hot summers. Also known as Consolida ambigua.

Sowing Larkspur Seeds
Sow larkspur seeds outdoors in early spring, or fall in mild winter areas. Surface sow or barely cover the seeds with soil. Full sun to part shade.
