Delphinium 'King Arthur' blooms in early to mid summer with tall spikes of royal purple flowers with contrasting white bees. The deep color is stunning, and the finely cut foliage is also attractive.

Delphinium 'King Arthur' makes a great companion plant for roses. The finely cut foliage is attractive. The long-stemmed flowers are wonderful for cutting.

Also known as Delphinium elatum 'King Arthur'. It's a member of the Round Table Series (a.k.a. Pacific Group Series).

Delphiniums require staking or a sheltered location to prevent wind damage. Deer resistant. Hardy in zones 3-8.
