Common Sage
$3.00
Salvia officinalis, commonly known as sage, is a perennial herb that is one of the main ingredients in poultry seasoning. It's also good in soup, salad, squash and potato dishes. The blue-green leaves have a pebbly texture, and tall wands of lavender flowers appear in early summer.
Start sage seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Or sow outdoors after the last frost. Barely cover the seeds with soil. Full sun.
