Aquilegia chrysantha Long-spurred Yellow
This rare columbine has the longest spurs that I've ever seen. It's similar to Aquilegia 'Denver Gold', but the spurs are even longer. The bushy plants bloom in early summer with yellow flowers that have a light honeysuckle fragrance. Hummingbirds are attracted to the nectar-filled spurs of Aquilegia chrysantha. Deer resistant. Hardy perennial in zones 4-9.
