This rare, dwarf zinnia comes from Russia. The small, pom-pom style flowers bloom in a stunning, fire-engine red. The bushy plants produce loads of blooms from mid summer to frost.
Zinnias are easy to grow and heat-tolerant. The brightly colored flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies. Red Cap is my personal favorite. It is especially nice when contrasted with white flowers like nicotiana or cleome.
