Crimson Sweet is the most popular open-pollinated watermelon for home gardeners. The large fruits weigh 20-25 lbs. and have a green-striped rind. The deep red flesh is very sweet and crisp with few seeds.

Crimson Sweet was introduced in 1964. It's an All America Selections winner with good disease resistance.
