Apparently, there are many strains of yellow pear tomatoes because this strain was the top choice of Seed Savers Exchange in their 1998 trials. It's a prolific producer of 1.5" long, pear-shaped, yellow tomatoes with a mild flavor.
Kids adore yellow pear tomatoes, and so do many adults. They are very pretty sliced in half lengthwise for salads.
