Heirloom Tomato 'Blondkopfchen'
The name of this adorable cherry tomato means "little blonde girl". The golden-yellow fruits have a sweet flavor and texture similar to yellow pear tomatoes. In fact, we could barely tell them apart in our blind taste test. But I think that Blondkopfchen had a slightly richer flavor.
Blondkopfchen comes from eastern Germany. The vines are large and sprawling, so give them plenty of space. This is a high-yielding, non-cracking variety.
