Tahoka Daisy, Tansy-Leaf Aster
(Machaeranthera tanacetifolia)
Tahoka Daisy is a native wildflower with finely cut leaves and pretty, lavender-purple flowers with yellow centers. It is drought-tolerant, preferring full sun and well-drained soil.
Machaeranthera tanacetifolia was previously called Aster tanacetifolius. I guess they changed it because it's not a true aster, but I wish they had chosen a simpler name.
