Grey-headed coneflower is a tall wildflower, native to the eastern half of North America. The flowers have drooping, yellow petals surrounding a light brown cone. It blooms from mid to late summer, attracting butterflies. The seedheads provide food for birds.

Ratibida pinnata thrives in well-drained soil where it reseeds nicely. Hardy in zones 3-10.
