I don't know if this plant is more useful for its flowers or its attractive foliage. The strawberry-like leaves are a soft green edged in white. The orange-red flowers bloom from late spring to early summer.
Potentilla atrosanguinea is nice at the front of the border where the attractive leaves will be noticed. Hardy in zones 5-8.
