Dwarf Jacob's Ladder

Dwarf Jacob's ladder has violet-blue flowers on short stems above the ferny foliage. It blooms in late spring, and it repeat blooms all summer if deadheaded. Some plants bloom the first year from seed. This perennial is very hardy.
Polemonium 'Heavenly Habit' looks good at the front of the border in a partly shaded location. It's especially nice with Digitalis grandiflora. Hardy in zones 3-8.
