My friend calls these "sissy jalapenos". They have the same great flavor as regular jalpenos, but with less heat. The 3-4" fruits ripen from bright green to deep red.
Tam Jalapeno is a very productive variety that is resistant to disease. It was developed by Texas A&M University. A good variety for drying and grinding in a coffee grinder for chili powder.
