This is a productive, early pepper. The wedge-shaped, pimiento-type fruits are 4" long and 2" wide. They have thick walls and a delicious, sweet flavor.
Lipstick pepper has an amazingly dark red color, which accounts for its name. I'm sure that the deep color adds to its nutritional value. Early ripening makes it a good choice for northern gardeners.
