This Amish heirloom is a truly excellent snap pea, much better than the modern varieties that I've tried. We eat the whole pods raw, while they are still young and tender. They are sweeter than snow peas.
Amish snap peas grows 4-5' tall and should be trellised for best results.

Soak seeds overnight. Sow outdoors in early spring as soon as the ground can be worked. Sow 1" deep and 3" apart. Provide a trellis. Full sun.
