Also called White Evening Primrose, this lovely species has fragrant, white flowers that fade to pink. It starts blooming about two months after sowing and continues all summer and fall.
Oenothera pallida spreads invasively by underground runners, so it can be used as a drought tolerant ground cover for difficult spots. If you don't want it spreading through the garden, try growing it in a container. Hardy in zones 3-10.
