Nepeta 'Blue Infinity' makes a large, bushy plant covered in violet-blue flowers all summer long. It is excellent towards the back of the perennial border as a bushy filler, or planted between tall roses, as shown in this picture.
Nepeta 'Blue Infinity' attracts hummingbirds, butterflies and beneficial insects. It self sows, so give it room to spread. The long-lived, bushy plants help to keep down weeds. Also known as catmint. Deer resistant. Hardy in zones 3-9.
Sowing Nepeta transcaucasica Seeds:
Sow indoors in late winter. Barely cover the seeds, then refrigerate for 3-4 weeks. Can be slow to germinate. Full sun to part shade. Spacing 15".
