Malva 'Zebrina' is a popular heirloom plant with pale pink flowers that are striped purple. It blooms the first year from seed, so it can be grown as an annual in cold zones. Also known as French Hollyhock or Zebra Mallow.
I can't make up my mind about this plant. I love it when it's blooming, and I hate it when I'm pulling up the many self-sown seedlings. But it is too pretty to exterminate completely. Cut the plants back for repeat bloom and to reduce self sowing. Hardy in zones 5-9.
height 3-4'
