Scarlet Flax, Red Flax

Scarlet flax is a popular wildflower with silky, red flowers on tall, leafy stems. New flowers open each day to replace the faded ones.
Linum 'Rubrum' is native to Southern Europe, but it has naturalized throughout much of the United States, and it's often included in wildflower mixes. It blooms for most of the summer, and it self sows on bare soil.
