Soldier rose mallow is a native wildflower with pale pink flowers. It is a tall plant for the back of the border.
Hibiscus militaris prefers moist soil, but it does well in ordinary garden soil with regular watering. Hardy in zones 3-10. Self sows. Also known as Hibiscus laevis or Halberd Leaved Swamp Mallow.
