Sneezeweed gets its name from the fact that the flowers were used by native Americans to treat colds (it doesn't cause hayfever). It's a showy wildflower with bright yellow, daisy-like flowers that attract butterflies in late summer.
Helenium autumnale thrives in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. Also known as Helen's Flower or Dogtooth Daisy. Hardy in zones 3-9.
