One of the neatest things about this eryngium is the silver veining on the dark green leaves. The nice blue flowers appear in mid summer.
Eryngium bourgatii is drought-tolerant and relatively easy to grow. It's not very tall, so place it near the front of the border where you can see the attractive leaves. Hardy zones 4-9.
