Echinacea 'Ruby Star' blooms from mid to late summer, and it sometimes blooms the first year from seed. It looks nice with ornamental grasses and wildflowers like butterfly weed, ratibida, scabiosa and Stipa tenuissima. Hardy in zones 3-9.
