Chimney bellflower is a tall biennial with white or china-blue flowers in late summer to fall. It's the last bellflower to bloom in the garden.
Chimney bellflower grows so tall that it may need support. Plant it against a wall or a fence. It usually blooms the second year from seed, but some plants wait until the third year.
You can tell what color the flowers will be by looking at the seeds. Brown seeds produce blue flowers, and white seeds produce white flowers. Also called Steeple Bells. Hardy in zones 3-7.
